It takes work to overcome fear. The first step is acknowledgment that one want to do it!
I have found EFT, meridian tapping, to be extremely helpful in overcoming fear- even phobias!

I love this! Especially after a beautiful extra warm Spring day in Baldwin, Long Island., NY spending all afternoon in my backyard listening to the birds (and cleaning deck furniture). Later, I sat on my deck on the furniture, wine in hand, continuing gratefulness for the birdsounds, beautiful blossoms, sprinklings of green in the sky like a Monet painting and lovely spring air. Tonight we’ll have the window open, and be blessed in the early AM with more birdsong and then meditation on the deck.
