Do you have enough fun and play?

I’m not talking about electronic games- or sex.  When you play tennis, golf, scrabble, bike, walk, ball, surf are you having fun?  In “the zone”? Are you smiling and laughing along with laser focus or perhaps no thoughts at all?

Give yourself permission to have fun.  It’s healthy, and well, yeah, fun!

Access your inner child and see what happens!   Being happier is always an asset.

Do you know what frees you?  It’s dancing for me.  I’ve come to peace with physical modifications for myself in dancing and exercising.   Additionally, I’ve placed the concept of “dancing” into an intellectual-emotional realm of possibility: creativity for the soul. I encourage you to take time to pursue your fun passion and create new possibilities.

There is no such thing as having “life balance”  all the time.  There are, however, individual tolerations if the balance is tipped too far.

Be smart- stay in balance most of the time!  This will keep you healthy and less stressed.

What lifts your spirits?  What connects you to your inner child?  How does your mind-body feel balanced and connected to God/Higher Being?  What is your happiness connection?Diverse kids from around the world floating around the planet Earth clipart

Yes, peace, love and happiness are connected.  Feeling  inner peace  leads to sharing love, extending positive energy and connecting.

Here are  things you can do to feel happier, inner peace, connect to your inner child and have fun:

  2. Exercise

This morning I was blessed with the time, energy and location to be walking on the boardwalk in Long beach, Long Island, New York.  I was thinking back to my roots in Brooklyn, spending time on the beach in Brighton and affirming my powerful connections to mind-body-spirit when I’m in this environment.  More about Brooklyn: Lincoln HS., the F and D subways, Coney Island rides :)-

We can feel more  purposeful, focused and positive about our work by regularly giving ourselves the gift of recreation and relaxation. We may think that we need to stay focused and disciplined until we get the job done, especially if we are working hard on achieving the goals we’ve set for ourselves. While this level of dedication is admirable, it can also sabotage our enjoyment of our work and also the efficiency and accuracy. Choosing to create a state of balance and moderation in our activities will help us enjoy our daily experiences more. This helps us be more focused and productive when we are working. Remember that a rested mind is an efficient mind. Take time to honor your need for fun today, and you will help yourself achieve your goals. A good night’s sleep is also extremely important to attain optimal productivity.
