Easy to Tap (EFT- Emotional Freedom Technique) for Success!

It’s really easy to activate your goal(s) and Tap (EFT – Emotional Freedom Technique) for success!  The first thing to do is determine what goal you want to achieve. Then listen very carefully to see what roadblocks your mind builds to attaining those goals.  You can do this by visualizing your procrastination issue or the “roadblocks”.  List them immediately as they arise within you. Then do the following procedure:

Determine how uncomfortable you are about not achieving your goals (called a SUDS, which means a Subjective Unit of Discomfort Scale) between 1-10 (10 being the most uncomfortable) Then tap continuously on the Karate Chop point (the side of the palm of the non-dominant hand with the first two fingers of your dominant hand) while saying the following words.

“Even though I want to achieve my goal, there is something inside me that holds me back. Yet, I love and accept myself nonetheless.” Say this three times in succession as you tap. Then move on to tapping the various meridian access points 5-7 times at each point as you say reminder phrases at each point.

Eyebrow EB – “I want to achieve my goal.”

Side of Eye SE- “Something is holding me back.”

Under Eye UE – “I don’t even know what it is that holds me  back.

Under nose UN – “I just can’t seem to achieve my goals.”

Under mouth UM – “Nothing seems to work.”

Collarbone CB – “I’ll never achieve my goals.”

Under Arm UA – “Something is holding me back.”

Top of Head TH – ” Maybe I really don’t deserve success.”

 

When you’ve done those 8 points a couple of times (remember, you may alter or modify the wording to fit your particular situation or circumstance) stop, take a deep breath and check in with yourself to see how you feel now between 1-10. Note any change. If your SUDS has come down, then move on to the second round which will sound like this (If it hasn’t come down, do the first round over again until it does. Make sure to change the wording a little):

“Even though I feel a little relieved and more positive about achieving my goals, there is still a little something holding me back. I can feel it within myself and don’t know how to access it. Yet, I love and accept myself no matter what happens.”

 

Eyebrow EB – “I feel a little better already.”

Side of Eye SE- “Yet something is still holding me back.”

Under Eye UE – “I’m starting to get an inkling of what it is that’s’ holding me back.”

Under nose UN – “I know I can eventually achieve my goals.”

Under mouth UM – “No, I don’t know that at all.”

Collarbone CB – “I’ll never achieve my goals.”

Under Arm UA – “Something is holding me back.”

Top of Head TH – “Maybe I’m afraid of success.”

 

Start another round, right away:

Eyebrow EB – “I’m not afraid of success.”

Side of Eye SE- “Yet something is still holding me back.”

Under Eye UE – “I’m starting to realize what is holding me back.”

Under nose UN – “I know I can eventually achieve my goals.”

Under mouth UM – “I’m no longer afraid of success.”

Collarbone CB – “I know I can handle it after I achieve my goals.”

Under Arm UA – “Nothing needs to hold me back any longer.”

Top of Head TH – “I embrace the feeling of success and accept it completely.”

Now, stop, take a deep breath and see how you’re feeling now. If your SUDS is a 1 or 0, then you’re done. If not, go back and start the process over at any point that feels right to you. Continue until your SUDS is a 1 or 0 and then you’re done. You should notice whether you have any further charge on the issue any longer and if you do, continue to tap until you cannot access those negative or self-limiting beliefs any longer.

Once you’re completed this technique, you’ll be free to set and achieve any goals you choose. Its usually that simple and direct; it’s easy to tap for success! Yet, sometimes, it does take more action to achieve the final goals you set for yourself.   You may question the negative statements used in this procedure.  I ask that you simply trust that it works!  When you’ve completed the last round of tapping, visualize yourself happily  taking action  to reach your goal.
Relax.  Breathe deep and affirm for yourself all that you are capable of!

    Thank you for sending this to me. I absolutely can’t wait to start using the EFT technique. You must have been reading my mind; because I said to myself; I need to do something different to change and upgrade me.
