Creating a routine that encompasses everything that is important to you requires discipline and knowing yourself.  Sometimes we need to step back and contemplate – meditate on various aspects and possibilities.  Priorities are easier to manage  when you are flexible enough to accept uncertainties and have confidence that you will make good choices.  Devoting yourself to aspects of your life that are most important to you and taking responsibility for your actions are the keys to great prioritizing!

Wheel of Life (2)Personal balance is different for everyone. It has to do with where you are starting and where you want to be…It depends on what your responsibilities (or perceived ones) are and the time and energy you need to allow for that and for simple and more complex pleasures.  It’s not about having equal pieces of the “wheel of life” in the chart above; it’s about giving each piece the time and energy it needs. Most of us have evaluated our success and not meeting goals for the past year and have goals and action plans in mind for this year.  It’s important to take action now.  Are you ready? What makes you happy?

When you discover that equation then I know you will get lots of compliments re: you’re looking great! and I hope you can say “thanks!” – like I’ve been doing since I’ve been in the semi-public eye for 3 days since my return from fun-family vacationing and adventures in Europe.Free HAPP...

What’s different?  I’ve been noticing all day today here in Long Island, NY   that my work load is lighter (since I’ve given myself time to catch up) and that I’m not in a hurry to complete  something or get somewhere.  I’ve had extreme patience (for me) at MD’s office’s and bank business.  That’s really different…

I’ve not attended any evening events (due to jetlag).  Jetlag is gone now (speeded up with acupuncture and light treatments:))

 and I’ve really been able to catch up.  Many lessons here…

Sometimes as entrepreneurs/small biz owners we must be on overload, even when we do not realize it.  This week has shown me, once again, how important it is to take an extended time off.

Just do it- it’s good for you- and you’ll look great!
