Ready to Keep Soaring? then STOP WORRYING!!!

Did you know that
40% of worrying is about things that will never happen
30% of worrying is over things that can’t be changed
10% of worrying is over health (which only gets worse when you worry)
We spend 92% of our time and energy worrying about things that:
1. We have no control over
2. We can’t possibly change
3. Have misperceived

Make a list of things you worry about. Divide your list into categories listed at the top of this outline. How do you want to redirect your focus?  VISUALIZE THIS!
What would happen if we channeled this energy and effort constructively rather than adding “fuel to the fire”? Worrying is like steeping on the gas pedal while the car is in neutral: we create a lot of noise, use energy and don’t go anywhere! EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques/ Meridian Tapping) works extraordinarily well to overcome anxiety, fear and worry.  more.. http://www.balanceandpower.com/eft.php

About EFT
Emotional Freedom Technique also known at EFT/ tapping is the talk of the day. This amazing new discovery is based on the body’s energies and a simple statement that the cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the energy system. It may be explained as the modern version of acupuncture without the needles and acupressure without pain, used in conjunction with intuitive performance success coaching.

Testimonials: What people are saying about Eileen Lichtenstein and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)

Eileen, I admire your energy and style! We all enjoyed your presentation very much and I have shared the EFT technique with a few of my clients. Thank you so much for your generosity in presenting the Emotional Freedom Technique . I was happy that we got to have our meeting in your conference room at such a great location for most of the Eastern Group Psychotherapy Society Long Island members”.

– Deborah Ross, LCSW, CASAC, CGP

“Thank you Eileen! You were wonderful. I enjoyed learning from you…the best I have felt in days and still do tonight; thanks for putting on the event!”
– Jara T. Weiss, RN, www.moongoddessadventures.com

“After just one session with you, I have to say that you are a very special being with a wonderful energy and spirit. After our session, I recalled the importance of learning (not to mention “hanging out” or networking) with an upbeat, enthusiastic, and fun coach/teacher. And that’s you! Your attitude makes a huge difference in confidence, motivation, and my attitude about the subject of EFT.”
– Ron Haugen, CEO Proficiency Training Programs

“I’d been doing some self-study on EFT and was getting some reasonable results but after one short session with Eileen, I not only discovered what I was missing with regards to tapping, I immediately felt better…I felt like there was real progress. Eileen not only is an experienced tapping coach, it’s abundantly clear that she truly cares about the people she works with.
Got an issue? (and who doesn’t??) I urge you to engage Eileen as your coach. She’s easy to work with and gets results.
– Jeff Goldberg, Jeff Goldberg & Associates

“After a few personal coaching-EFT sessions with Eileen via video Skype addressing my ‘snake’ phobia I am well on my way to living without fear!  And now… saw a snake when starting to walk through the grass and did not freak out!  Said to my friend, let’s go another way, turned and walked the other way and had NONE of the fear, angst, anxiety that I’ve had previously!” – Inez Bracy, Transformation Coach, Florida

These tips are  tried and true! :

1.  Listen to and follow your intuition.

During these trying and difficult times it’s been shown that it’s often necessary to reprioritize to get best outcomes.   Your intuition is most often correct when it comes to your life, work and relationships.  So even if it’s an inkling feeling – a tiny revelation- take a moment to recognize that and then move forward.

2.  Stay within your integrity- no matter what.

No reason or person is important enough to ever stray.  If you have  tried this over the years, whether intentionally or not, then you know it always backfires.

 3.  Love and laugh!

Both are proven stress reducers.  Happiness is contagious – many need more of that now while surrounded by global negativity, difficult times, chaos and immersed in “the new normal”.

 4.  Forgive yourself  for mistakes; let go and move on.

Self-forgiveness is essential in order to forgive anyone else.  Forgiveness is essential to let go of anger.  Letting go of anger is essential to be happier.  Especially in “the new normal” this is a no-brainer :).

5.  Take time each day  to relax, to dream.

We need our “down” time more than ever now, living in these difficult times.  Honor your method of relaxation and allow dreams to surface.  Be open to learning additional relaxation techniques and give them a try.. whatever works for you whenever you do it is OK as long as it has no negative effects on health or  overlaps with personal or work responsibilities.  If things are unmanageable – get help.

 6.  Be a great listener.

Listening is the most important part of communication.  If you do not understand what is being said, ask. Listen well and your response will  be more on target.

7.  Stay healthy by practicing extreme self-care. (diet, sleep, exercise, relaxation techniques).

Stress takes its toll on health and may exacerbate conditions already in existence.  Therefore we need to be more diligent in this realm in order to   “Thrive Amidst Chaos” (the title of a workshop I co-presented with two colleagues recently).

8.  Stop procrastinating and take action- move forward or drop the project.

We all procrastinate; acknowledgement of being in this mode is the firststep in moving forward.  All procrastination is fear based and manifests itself through negative statements such as:

“not the right time now”
“why even bother…can happen (worst case scenario).”
Sometimes the act of “non-doing” is an indication that the idea needs to be tossed.

What holds us back from accomplishing our goals is fear.

  • Fear of failure
  • Fear of being judged
  • Fear of success
  • Fear of being controlled

These fears are often caused by deeply routed anxieties.  No matter- you can turn it all around with EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques: Meridian Tapping) combined with positive language-visualization reframing and Peak Performance Success Coaching   and the intention to do just that!

The following are a few common phrases/excuses people use when they are procrastinating: The task is:
“too boring”
“too time consuming”
“I just don’t feel like it”
“I just don’t want to”.

The Good news is that   EFT ( The Emotional Freedom Technique) is wonderfully successful in  reversing procrastination, as usually deeper emotional issues are involved.  It is based on the simple statement that the cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body’s energy system . It involves tapping on meridian points while making  statements about the issue.

Knowing that you are afraid will not magically remove fear or change behavior.  You can use The EFT Technique to eradicate the roadblocks of guilt and fear that keep you from moving forward. When you use EFT and stimulate the acupressure points (see chart) the level of serotonin in the brain rises and floods the amygdalia, the section of the brain involved with controlling emotion and fear, and the fear loop is disconnected.  Once the brain stops experiencing fear with the proper EFT tapping, set-up phrase (see below examples) and intuitive NLP language guidance from an experienced EFT Practitioner, which I am, you will find that your thoughts and behaviors transform effortlessly.

9.  Begin each day with a short meditation positive visualizations of successful outcomes of your goals.

Oh! I am so much a believer in this!  Research has shown fantastic results.  It’s all up to you – and your connection to a higher power/the universe.

10.  Believe in yourself and your goals; create affirmations and post them onto mirrors, in an accessible notebook and in the car.

I’ve witnessed amazing escalation in self esteem, happiness, productivity and success with the implementation of these tips for my clients.

Finding the balance of spontaneity with intuition helps us make choices that benefit our lives. Notice when you are feeling impulsive or spontaneous and then ask yourself, “Will this really benefit me?”  The answer comes in the form of a verbal response or simply an instinctual feeling. Try to pay attention to your feeling; that is your intuition guiding you to make the right choices. It is important to remember that making spontaneous decisions doesn’t necessarily mean being hasty. Acting with energy and spontaneity is a wonderful way to live our lives, as it means we are being in the moment. However, it can lead us to make decisions that may not be the best for us  and may lead to stress, frustration, anger, anxiety, depression.  I know my that SOAR! with Resilience™ Book can help with these issues and challenges.

This prevents us from making decisions we may later regret. We respect and pay attention to both our desire for the unstructured and our natural instincts.   Be attuned to your intuition! “At the moment you consciously make a choice, pay attention to how you feel.”

From The Law of Karma

We all find ourselves at times walking the edge between this and that, yes and no. . When you make a decision and you have a sense of “relief” you know it’s a right choice. Intuitive “hits” come in many forms- from sensory images, physical feelings and auditory and olfactory clues. When you are open to receiving and noticing “signs”, it becomes progressively easier to trust your intuition. The optimal receptive “state” has being “grounded” for a prerequisite. For instant grounding, connect with nature: take a walk, meditate at the ocean, listen to the birds, gaze at a flower. Spring is the perfect season to jumpstart your intuition. Or listen to a guided meditation, which you may listen to on the Moving Meditation(R) Fitness audio program.  The following tips help access your intuition are most effective when practiced on a daily basis:

• Be Quiet: Take time out every day to experience some form of stillness and silence. Calm your mind chatter with deep breathing or meditation. Releasing your need to know, analyze and think will allow intuition to work.
• Trust and Look for Signs: Be open to seeing signs and symbols and receiving information from all around you, including songs from the radio and street signs.
• Be Creative, Play!: Creativity and play partner well with intuition, as does getting into the “zone” with cardio exercise. Whenever you “lose track of the time and move into a “flow state” intuitive guidance may be at work.
• Take Risks and notice your intuitive hits happen!
• Be Inquisitive:When you ask yourself questions, you open to clarity and insight. The answers lie within us- get out of your own way so that the answers can surface and trust yourself.
• Write: Writing allows information and insight to come forth from your inner self. Take time to journal-or blog everyday. Connect moments of gratitude, synchronistic events and affirmations through writing.
