We can  find joy in the chores and tasks we don’t especially like – sometimes all we need is a change of attitude, a different approach, a little music, or some help from friends or family, and the tasks or responsibilities that we perceive as tedious ie: washing dishes, fixing the car, cleaning a closet, can become a source of satisfaction.

Most of us tend to put off what it is that we don’t want to do. Yet, one of the best approaches to an unpleasant task or dull chore is to dive right in and be fully mindful of what it is that you are doing.

Playing your favorite music, dancing while you work, or creating a mental list of everything you are grateful for are just a few ways to turn an unexciting activity into a fun event. Look for joy in doing your mundane activities, and they’ll become a source of enjoyment rather than a tolerable duty.

Stretching mentally is a willingness to change  in order to accommodate new circumstances.  It allows for shifting course when indicated and is possible when not being overly attached to outcome.  We are actually more in tune with reality when we are flexible- since reality is ever changing,

it doesn’t make sense to be rigid or to cling to any one idea of what is happening or what is going to happen.

Being in tune enables us to adjust to the external environment and other people as they change and grow.  Every day we have the opportunity to exercise our flexibility.  We can stretch our minds by imagining several different possibilities for how events will unfold. As we do this, our minds become more supple and open, and when changes come our way, we can be more confident to accommodate and flow with the new reality.

Next time you get angry or frustrated, don’t focus on your circumstances. Ask yourself what belief about the circumstances you are clinging to. And think about how that might be incorrect or not useful. Everyone sees things from their own lens… you may want to try to reframe and learn EFT Emotional Freedom Techniques, tapping to release the old beliefs fully.

Sometimes when we’re simply excited about something we interrupt people in a conversation – I know sometimes I do…this happened recently and I tapped on it this morning (EFT, Emotional Freedom Techniques) as I felt that “I should know better”.  It happens…and we must keep our awareness-antennas up about that.  Does being in the “hurry lifestyle” impact on doing this more?  If you find yourself interrupting other’s sentences – not because you are consciously impatient, impulsive or impetuous – but simply feeling excited, you can tap on that daily as well as keeping a rubberband on your wrist to snap whenever it happens.  It can be construed by the other as rude/inconsiderate or not paying attention/listening.

Believing in yourself is the most powerful affirmation you can give to yourself!
Having trust in ourselves helps motivate us to take risks and go the extra mile. It is easier to take initiative and action when we feel capable and self-assured.  Self-trust in our actions tends to result in success. Consider having giving yourself a supportive little talk if you feel self-doubt to reinforce your belief in yourself and boost your self-confidence.
When you go above and beyond the norm in some aspect of your life or are allowing those around you to see more of your emotions than you’re used to showing, you may feel that you are taking a risk. Hopefully, those in your sphere are meeting your efforts with more support or trust than you might have expected.  Others may be reacting positively to your actions today or perhaps communicating strong faith in your abilities.
Trust yourself today when you take risks, and your actions will be self-affirming and create positive results.  I have helped many Peak performance success coaching and  EFT
