Turkey, sweet potatoes, stuffing and pie, yum!! We are grateful and most of us are happy to be at this table. I’d like to say a bit more about grateful. and reducing Holiday Stress.
There is a huge correlation between gratefulness-forgiveness-happiness. Research has documented it and everyday I affirm this for myself and with clients. I recommend every evening going over a few things-people-circumstances that you are grateful for; perhaps journaling them. Here are some of mine:
I am grateful for my supportive and loving family.
I am grateful for my home and surroundings.
I am grateful that I can thrive amidst world chaos.
I am grateful for my health and positive attitude.
I am grateful for my friends.
I am grateful for knowing all of you- my friends and colleagues.
I am grateful that I help so many people in my work and that I love doing that.
