Fuel for Challenge: Knowing the “risks”.

You may have the desire to initiate new projects that could be risky but also exciting.  You may feel like taking a step outside of your comfort zone and trying something new..If you take a pioneering approach to things, you will come across new and unusual ideas. Perhaps asking yourself the question, “What is the worst that can happen?” might be a way for you to assess how much risk you are willing to take today and your comfort level with the types of projects you might embark on. You may notice that once you have potentially understood the things that could hold you back, there is so much more to gain by moving forward. You could find yourself inspired by all you may be able to achieve~ all the possibilities!

Understanding all aspects of the possibilities that await us can be motivating, unless we consider every part of a project-the positive and negative-we will go into it blind, not really considering what might happen. Then, if things don’t go well, we are more likely to feel let down. Fully knowing the risks beforehand, however, will actually catapult you, giving you fuel for the challenge of today, knowing that once you overcome something, you will have achieved a new and exciting success.

  1. So true!! Having an awareness of both the positives and the negatives really does prepare us and set the stage for success… rather than disappointment.

Off to go put some of those ideas into action 🙂

    Thanks!
