Making speaches that net new leads
June 7, 2010 by Eileen Lichtenstein
I was recently interviewed by a Newsday, Long Island, New York business writer for her column in the business section. My tips are below in the “Call to action” section of the article: (6/1/2010)
- Check with organizers that handouts are allowed
- Provide a sign-in sheet
- Engage with the attendees, incuding Q&A
- Be available for a few minutes to speak with attendees personally
When people become personally involved with the speaker, they are more apt to followup with you later on.
